Tipsy Pudding



1 packet (16oz) chocolate chip and hazelnut cookies

1 large tin of custard

12 oz chocolate (plain or milk)

1 pt double cream




Melt the chocolate and add 4 tablespoons of custard.


Dip individual biscuits well in a saucer of sherry and sandwich together with the chocolate and custard mixture to make piles of three.


Stand the piles close together in a low glass dish.


Sprinkle with extra sherry and cover well with a cream and custard mixture.


Chill well and decorate with piped cream.
